What is supercritical CO₂ (sCO₂)?

Supercritical state: When CO₂ is brought to high temperatures and high pressures (approximately 31°C or higher, 7.38MPa or higher), it becomes a "supercritical fluid" with properties that are intermediate between a liquid and a gas. CO₂ in this state has extremely high energy density and thermal conductivity, making it efficient for heat exchange and energy conversion in turbines.

Introduction image

Succeeded in significantly reducing CO2 emissions. In addition to contributing to a decarbonized society, it also enables participation in the carbon credit business.
This technology is attracting a lot of attention as a solution that directly leads to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and realizing a decarbonized society.

carbon credits

If you want to install a 1MW power plant, solar requires 1ha (10,000m2), but with this technology it can be implemented in 26m2.
The land efficiency is 400 times greater.

Ultra small

Efficient power generation using sCO₂.

It has high thermal efficiency and can generate electricity 24 hours a day while reducing internal fuel consumption.

High efficiency

Each type of equipment is small and has an independent structure, making it highly expandable. Therefore, it can be introduced flexibly according to the required power and usage environment. We have already received many inquiries from business operators in various industries, including those in special environments such as the space field and submarines.
